The Finance module serves as the primary ledger for the BudgetWise application, facilitating the management of all financial entities and business logic.

Primary Entities

• Transactions: Atomic records representing financial inflows or outflows.
• Categories: Taxonomical structures used to classify financial data.
• Budgets: Temporal constraints defined by the user to monitor and limit expenditures.
• Savings Goals: Long-term financial objectives with tracked accumulation targets.

Data Processing

Transaction records are automatically cross-referenced against active budgetary constraints. When an expense is registered within a specific category, the system recalculates the remaining balance and updates the budgetary status in real-time.
